One thing to note that the loss of their magic puts the Storm Tribe's followers into a bit of a rarity in Glorantha - a test of *faith*.

Its easy to believe when you can call down the wrath of Orlanth at will. Much harder when everyone else's stuff works and your's doesn't. And if your kids are starving, its an incentive to maybe switch sides - something some players have trouble getting their heads around in play, I've found but it can be a very rewarding gaming experience.
