"She led the warrior discipline known as the Moonsword cult, from which the Bloodspillers were drawn, and she carried that famous blade as her sign of office." I'm guessing that that's the 'razor' in question. But who knows? Maybe her other claim to fame is introducing Lunar women to the fashion of shaving your legs. :)

A quick summary of information in the Runequest Companion (1983):

Caladraland: Ruler is elected for a 6-year period by the clan chiefs, subject to approval by the people and by the priesthood of the volcano gods. The area to the west of Caladraland (the Western Allies) also obeys the priesthood, but not the secular government (and so is not considered part of the Holy Country). Caladraland also controls Porthomeka, which is culturally an Esrolian province and Thonble which is a buffer zone against attacks by the Ditali.

Esrolia: ruled by loose and shifting alliances between powerful matriarchal clans. The Pharoah's rule prevented open civil war... oops. Very densely populated, mostly by unwarlike peasants. Subject to raids by the Ditali from the west.

Shadow Plateau: a troll realm, which controlled the whole area until the Pharoah killed their living god and took control.

Heortland - no new information. :)

God Forgot: the ruling class are immortal, atheist Brithini who operate a strict caste system and rule the same way they have for thousands of years.

Islands: ruled by the 'merchief', leader of the local Triolini. He appoints a High Admiral of the Boats as his human regent to govern the air-breathers.

Plus a timeline:

1313: Belintar appears mysteriously.
1318: Belintar ascends as Pharoah of the Holy Country.
1580: Dormal learns how to evade the Closing of the Seas. The Holy
Country begins naval trade and exploration. 1586: A Holy Country fleet opens trade with Teshnos, but is destroyed when it tries the same with Kralorela.
1605: Lunars invade Holy Country for the first time; defeated at the Building Wall Battle.
1605: Wolf Pirates establish a base on the Three Step Islands to the south.
1609: Greymane, leader of the Ditali tribes, begins raids on Esrolia and Caladraland. Lunar intrigue is suspected. 1616: Year of disasters. The Wolf Pirates destroy the Holy Country fleet, their army is defeated by Greymane, and the Pharoah disappears.
1617: Richard the Tigerhearted invades Heortland. Broyan takes power.
1618: Greymane ravages Esrolia.
1619: Lunars capture Karse and overrun most of Heortland: seige of
Whitewall begins.
1620: Lunars consolidate their control of the eastern Holy Country, except for Whitewall.
