IMO Gravity, and Levity, are marks of something being out of place; after all, the Continents float serenely on Water.

I would rather see hail as Darkness, but darkness is already a large part of storms (as they exist in Time) so you may be right.

Does this mean thunder, the phenomenon, is also Earth?

Orlanth has had a loud voice all His life; but Orlanth is part Earth on his mother's side...

That's it! Thunder is the Earthquake component of storms!
