That's more or less how I'm treating the shamanic folks among the Umathelan storm barbarians -- a standalone independent practice.

(The name down there is Umath: "The Umath Cult: it is primarily a shamanistic sect. Shamans of Umath do stuff like ride around in sylphs, climb high mountains, cavort naked in the snow. You get the picture." [Sandy Petersen, 22 Feb 95] But I consider it much the same, as a shamanic associate of a storm pantheon.)
