Spare armor that "fell off the back of an oxcart" will usually need to be mended, if not resized.The normal way to fix bronze amor is to melt and recast it, at least in part. This will also get rid of the Pelorian ID marks and Yanafil Tarnils enchantments - generally not a problem for a Heortling who wants to reuse it. (Breaking unknown enchantments could be dangerous, but that's what PCs are for, not so?)
