Weeellllll......I don't think I actually said that. What I tried to say is that it led me to give a response different from what I'd recommend. But given their past experiences and the number of "armchair publishers" in the gloranthan community (all of us who are happy to say what they should publish, without have a clue about what is invovled--and no I don't include you in that number), their question might actually be very sensible.

The site and lists between them should give a read on the more hard core part of the community, the part that they probably generally need to buy books to make sure they have a shot at breaking even in a reasonable time period after printing. So depending on what their priorities are--and the priorities forced on them by business considerations may not be the same as the priorities strictly from building the gloranthan brand--maybe asking about who would actually buy what may be wise.

Of course, letting Moon Design print this now, while retaining the rights to print a full atlas some time in the future (say at least two years after this is published), would seem like a bit of a no lose for them....provided people would buy both.
