How many Char-Un does it take to screw in a lightbulb

In Sons of Kargzant it says that the Char-Un nation is made of 11 tribes, each tribe is composed of 4 to 7 clans. But how big is a clan roughly. I'd guess the caln is composed of several families, and how big are the families. The book mentions some very large numbers of warriors in a great horde.
