 The bearded child thing is MEAN. I like it. I saw the tax collector rape thing, which frankly doesn't bother me. (People just assume it is supernatural, but doesn't have to be.) I actually like this version, although I'm still waiting on her answer as to whether or not the doom of the tribe has fallen already or not. (I'm leaving that entirely up to her. If it has, I go with somethink like you suggest here. If not, I leave it open for future meddling. It all depends on which part of the story she is interested in playing.)
