>From my memory, solutions that the re-settlement clans found to this
problem included
- clans formed triaties, where three clans got together with an
agreement that all (was that an Orlanthi all) the the men of each
clan would take wives only from one of the other two, i.e A took
wives from B, B from C and C from A. This organisation was to small
to form a tribe but often became the core of a later tribe.
- clans split to form new clans (the Colymar solution)
