Plus there's roasting in a closed bbq; my father does a brilliant charcoal-roast lamb. And beef. And chicken. And turkey. My father's just a brilliant cook. ;) Even for vegetarians (which we have a couple of in the family)... Buttered charcoal-roast artichokes, spiced potatoes, yum.
