Hey Mark, you seem like a good person to ask this follow-up question of. Do you have any particular style of "spear" combat in mind for them? I did notice it is not spear and shield, as is more commonly seen. Are these two handed shields? Or one handed used with lots of dodging? (more likely basically un-thrown javelins if skirmishing troops get trapped in hand to hand....) Or something else in mind entirely?
