After a few months of observation [Emperor] Venerabilis learned
that the object of the dream was to repopulate Dara Happa with
that inhuman race. He then spent half of a year preparing the
Emperor's Reply, a huge-scale recounting of the origins of the
world which omitted the dragons from it. It was performed at
Sacred Time, and as a result the dream stopped and no repopulation
occurred.
