The Sun County Yelmalions are the heirs of those who left their clans and tribes to follow Monrogh. They are a regiment of mercenaries that has been given their own land - not an Orlanthi tribe, held together by the disclipine born from their shared struggle as a distrusted solar minority that rejects the way of Orlanth. The Sun Dome Templars fight as pikemen formed into blocks of 10 lines of 10 men each. They cover their flanks with javelineers, or take a position that protects one or both flanks.
The Far Point Yelmalions belong to, and many cases dominate, their local tribes. Rather than remove themselves from their Orlanthi tribes like the Sun County folk, the Far Point Yelmalions have succeeded in establishing themselves as the dominant majority and have marginalized the local Orlanthi. They fight as Tarshites do, although there are probably some special Yelmaltae warbands and elite bodyguards.
