I've not seen any references. But the existence of the name suggests that he plays a role somewhere. Which makes him prime fodder for inventing a Hero Quest.

And an association with Thunderstones makes perfect sense - his name usually seems to be taken as referring to a thunderclap and slings are a weapon favoured by Uz.

He could be a Thunder Brother - possibly even displacing Helamakt in Darkness oriented (or anti-Water) clans. IMHO given the lack of mention I suspect he would be more usually viewed as a friend or ally within the Darkness tribe (especially considering how hard it is for Uz to "cut the apron-strings").
