some questions on the Crimson Bat

The Crimson Bat seen in the Dragon Pass boardgame wasn't all that powerful on it's own. It's real power was the glowspot, that made lunar units stacked with or near it much more powerful.

The RQ-3 version of the bat, on the other hand, is such a horror that the lunars hardly need an army if they have the bat in the region.

I understand that the RQ description of the bat suffered a lot from the fact that RQ just wasn't built to handle creatures of that scale.

I'd like to hear what the bat is supposed to be like. Is it really a thing that swallows thousands of warriors in battle, and soaks up all the magic cast against it, while impervious to harm itself.

Or is it at least somewhat vulnerable. The only thing I have been able to think of against it (RQ-3 version) is a really strong wind. (or the famous trick of teleporting on it's back and killing the priests controlling it)
