The Doraddi are far more than just the Gloranthan Zulus. The Zulu analogue is the Arbennan Confederation of Jolar which formed to fight the Kresh. Even then, there are some Jolar Doraddi that kinda look like Zulus but are opposed to the Arbennan. John Hughes also had some Left-Path Agimori who are similar to Australian Aborigines.

Other types of Doraddi are:

The Kothar claim to be the original Doraddi (but some Jolari don't believe them). They are the most sedentary of the Doraddi as about half live in their villages all year around. They are the descendants of the mythical civilization of Tishamto.

The Tarient are impoverished Hunter-Gathers. The Land is Poor, the Hunting is Hard and there are all these Lizard Folk around trying to eat people.

The Kresh are a nomadic trade empire that pull massive wagons by themselves (no herd animals or slaves). They originally appeared in Kothar within the past couple of centuries. Most Kothari and some Jolari think they are alright but the Arbennan claims they are evil.
