Ley-lines in Glorantha

So, a ley-line might or might not simply be the chance occurance of arbitrary points along a line, which one notices by looking at a map.

But who has accurate maps in Glorantha? Mostali? The Lunars?

Perhaps a gang of Mostali arrive at your stead one day. They mutter into their beards and shake their heads, check the position of your buildings using their magic theodolites, then tell you that your barn is in the 'wrong' position and, 'in order to fix The World Machine' must be moved 100 yards east?

Or an enthusiastic recent graduate of the Lunar College of Magic is recruiting guards and bearers to accompany him into Dragon Pass, where he will conduct some measurements concerning some striking, and possibly even disturbing, regularities in the positions of various magical sites. The graduate, it transpires, is considered a doom-mongering troublemaker by The Powers that Be.
