Doesn't Yan Starcere have the Gallant trait as required? Seems incompatible with surly psychopaths (although maybe not manic depressives).

It also discusses Humakti children in the Humakt section in Storm Tribe; including the idea that some strict Humakti view such children as undead - even though their undead-destroying powers do no function on them.
