Old Carmanian Humakti "honor" consisted in obedience to their orders. Other than that, they had little, save the usual Humakti hatred of Undeath or Slow Torture, to restrain them. Old Carmanians would think nothing of breaking into a hospital nursery and killing all the infants there. I once described them as being like Waffen SS on the Eastern Front, without the politeness, but more discipline.

Since the Lunars conquered Carmania, they have become much nicer. Now, they would feel bad for a few minutes after killing the infants, and they might even request clarification and confirmation of the order, before starting the massacre. They would still have no problem with using the corpses for torches around the camp, afterwords. They would refuse to consider turning them into a Zombie Guard, though (hence the need for a House to sponsor a few ZZ warrior, as well).

Most Sartari Humakti would think that the Carmanians were Uraini (Chaotic God of Violence For The Fun Of It), except that they still have strict Humakti discipline, and follow Humakti rites (ignoring almost a millennium of separate development, since Arkat Humaktson's army split after he became a troll, and the future Carmanians shifted to Talor The Laughing Warrior's army, instead). Also, Carmanians are usually concentrated in House-by-House units, rather than split into small groups or individuals, like the Heortling Humakti do.

Carmanian Humakti think that the Heortling branch is a bunch of ill-disciplined weaklings, or that they all take upon themselves the prerogatives of the Carmanoi caste (to consider the morality of their actions). I cannot even guess the disdain they would have for the Esrolian Humakti fops (think, Errol Flynns)
