    IMO, about the point that you convert to worship of the Seven Mothers, by which point you don't really want your storm magic any more anyway. Although trashing an Orlanthi sacred site, assassinating Storm Voices and so on should do the trick, even if you don't join the 7 Mums (and then you get zapped by cult spirits of retribution, of course).

    In terms of getting magic from him, Orlanth seems to be pretty lenient about how you act. Raiding and betraying your fellow clans is pretty much normal behaviour for many Heortlings anyway, so its unlikely that that would cause problems. Actually breaking the laws of the cult, or abandoning it for an enemy, are the sorts of things that will get you in trouble, regardless of whether or not Lunars are involved.
