A small nitpick--as I understand it, Chaos is *not* particularly associated with the underworld. Yes, there are chaotic underworld entities (like Vivamort), but there are staunchly anti-chaotic underworld entities (like Kyger Litor), and chaotic beings that have nothing to do with the underworld (like Nysalor/D'Wargon).

If a chaotic being *does* have an underworld connection, then it makes sense for that being to mix magic schools on those grounds. And I would argue that even if a chaotic being is *not* associated with the underworld, we should expect its magic to be chaotic because, well, it's chaos. But we can't just say "chaos is underworld and therefore mixes magic".
