Those of you who like your Glorantha without any hint of anthropology should move along. For everyone else:

John Hughes has recommended this book in the past as a source of inspiration (http://mythologic.info/questlines/bibliography.html) but I believe it has been out of print. Well it is back in print again (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/1401904777/qid=1114954760/sr= 8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl/202-7636483-4815840).

I'm reading it right now. I would definitely class it as a 'creative intepretation' of Anglo-Saxon belief, but then what wouldn't be. Still thought-provoking material when trying to understand how different the viewpoint of people not raised in Western materialist society might be.
