I think that Ian Cooper is great at bringing up this kind of daily detail and making it interestingly gameable -- obviously there are his Exile scanrios in IWS and Wintertop Fair, but I just remembered that his scenario Cattle Raid on Ormthane Vale is up on the Issaries website _at_ http://www.heroquestrpg.
com/hw/fan/scenario_cattleraid.html -- it's HW rather than HQ statted IIRC, but conversion is no problem and I like the bracketing of the adventure with clan events.
