Yes, I agree with both of these and whether Sartar was a superhero or not or whether that term has any meaning at all, wasn't really my point.

My point is that Sartar's magic was all about nation building and peace and that he and his heirs used that magic to rule Sartar for over a century. The consequences of which, to my mind, seem to be heavily underestimated in the current discussions of what Sartar is like under the Lunars. I'm not trying to say the dog eat dog (or should I say cat eat cat) environment is not there, but I am trying to say that we should consider that there is also a strong current in Sartar for a return to rule of the heirs of Sartar and the relative peace and order that was in existence under their rule and that for a significant number of Sartarites, this is a strong motivation in their politics.

Sartar was an extraordinary man even in terms of Glorantha and his influence must have changed the Dragon Pass Orlanthi in major and lasting ways from the time before he came, all IMO of course.
