There was. In the RQ3 Glorantha Boxed Set. Languages were related to each other by a 1/3 of speaking ability (if in the local family tree like Sartarite and Esrolian) and by 1/10th of speaking ability if in a different one (like Sartarite and Tarshite).
The Language Families in Genertela were Malkioni, Theyalan (Orlanthi), Pelorian, Pentan, Praxian, Hsunchen, Vithelan and Teshnan.
