Well, since several of your characters are interested in the oceans, Men of the Sea is a possibility.
As a Narrator, the Griffin Mountain reprint is worth your while -- I think this is still my all-time favorite supplement. The Pavis & Big Rubble reprint is cool too, and while you'd have to Heortling-ize the exiles a little, should still be pretty accurate.
