Yes, Vinga the loyal daughter - loyal to her mother not her father. The mother who wants soldiers trained in case of need rather than adventurers stirring up trouble. I can't help feeling that it's another alternative for women before they marry - training the militia. It's quite possible that the Esrolians have squeezed Vinga into this role in the absence of anything better.

Babs is the most extreme but they are all driven by anger against someone who attacked the earth. I'd say they were much more difficult to fit in as soldiers.
