I have had Greg as a GM, once, and there was no rail-roading in evidence, nor any obvious attempts to make the players sit back and admire the NPCs. Mind you, given that group of players, rail-roading might have required the use of blunt instruments, or even sharp ones...

But that having been said, Greg is still one of the very few people I've ever heard attempt to defend the idea that at times the players *should* sit back and watch the NPCs in admiration, without being able to affect the course of events. And, AFAIK, the only person to suggest that withholding information from GMs is in some way a *good* thing, rather than an unfortunate necessity of non-infinite page-count.
