Hi

I started GM'ing using the sample scenario's in the book. We ran through High Pressure Front with some sample characters and the nexttime we played everyone had a character and we ran through Chasing Kites, which a really great adventure IMO. The player characters rescued the spirit of the little girl Mykka and carried her back to their home clan where the elder grandmothers took the spirit with the intention of returning her to the ancestors.

However, Mykka returned, a fully grown Ernaldan spirit woman in manifestation (you know, when she manifests she looks like she's been eating ready brek) and the clan elders suggested that this portent meant the player characters should form a heroband with Mykka as the guardian, which they actually agreed to.

Lately the group did discuss finding another guardian but some of them seem quite attached to Mykka, which may of course be down to how they got her, having saved her so to speak.
