Solf is the god of the polluted fire. He does foul things _because_ they are foul. Having strangers worshipping Solf is polluting the divinity and so it is good.

Babadi are dwarves (slightly different from western mostali). The Goondas are orangutans. See the Glorantha: Intro p201 for more details.

No. Since his port controls commerce between Teshnos and the outside world, there's little need for him to do this.
