Myth or Science?

I just finished reading Eugene Linden's book The Winds of Change : Climate, Weather, and the Destruction of Civilizations, and seeing the film An Inconvenient Truth. The former in particular made me think of a lot of the Gloranthan disasters, but both point out how we could very easily be in store for something of the sort ourselves. Scary stuff.

And a lot of what's happened in Glorantha has happened on a similar scale in our world, after the last Ice Age. So it's oddly more believable and compelling now.
