In my Teshnos, there is mixture of both. Past Lives are seen by the Zitrs and tracked priesthood, and every Teshnan tries to unlock more memories of their past throughout their life.

However, only Zitrs can clearly discern the past lives of one's Life Flame, and there are only two dozen Zitrs in all of Teshnos. Certainly the Nobles and some powerful priests will be able to get audiences with a Zitr and receive their spiritual guidance. Most common Teshnans are content with following what the Priests say, and that is heavily based on the Laws of Chal.

Vadrus is very interesting idea indeed. I'll have to look over the Myth. What benefits would the Wolf Pirates hope to gain by performing it, asides from changing the local rain patterns?
