Yes, I can see your point. I think the thing to recall here is Wall Regiment. Were they at some point actually deployed atop physical walls? The unit deployment makes perfect sense in that context. I think it is the most likely explanation, but I'm afraid I don't know the history of the term Wall Regiment...

Are they combining Phalanx maneuverability and persistence with light infantry screening tactics, by which they deploy at the front of the other Phalanxes? I think that is possible.

Anyway, I was surprised they were solar worshiping Darra Happans not Lunar Regiments, but yes it makes perfect sense now. They are part of the Heartland Corps as I recall from Dragon Pass the boardgame? They operate alongside the Thuder Delta Slingers, who as I recall are from Erigia (?) and Hadrian's Dragoons, is that correct? Is the Heartland Corp still an official Lunar Army unit, or is it actually a Vexilla? Just idle curiosity
