I believe CafePress just does a bitwise copy of whatever CD you send them (or rather, presumably, they make a disk image file and burn from that). So if you can burn it onto one CD, they can image it, then print the image onto 1,000. Cross-platform shouldn't be a problem.

But in either case, you'll want to get a sample CD and test it out on both platforms.

And, yeah, that one-month wait is a hassle.
