I believe Donald substituted "write clever but useless program" for the chat-up ability (you mean there's a difference? most chat-up lines I met in my final year were written in some obscure programming language!)

hmm, I graduated with a degree in computer science, having spent the two weeks between exams and results almost solidly RPGing.
Then we started arranging the wedding.
Somewhere in there I must have retained the ability to attract a partner - or Dave's insane. My own bets are on the latter, because for some reason he's still around and hasn't given up on me yet.
