As for the Fresco linking home, I certainly think someone should jump on the Isle of Wonder - City of Wonder connection.
Maybe a room that's furnished identically to the God-King's "meditation room"? Something hinting at an origin? (a lost brother could be creepy)
OH! There has to be a "remove this shiny thing from the statue or platform and set off a horrible death trap" moment. :)
