Last week we had another chat about our characters, before beginning the game for the evening.

Ian outlines the NPCs he has in mind:

In our game group we have a rule that each PC must have 3 relationships to NPCs. I've got 1, the elf.

If I was damaged by the Gulpers, the Gulper Shaman is the obvious choice for #2.

What about #3? We'll #1 and #2 are outsiders, so my PC is not well attached to the clan, so someone conventional would be a good choice for #3. We agree on #3 being the Elder Grandmother, perhaps my mother.

We chat about my relationship with the rootless elf. After bouncing the idea around, I decide to 'turn it up to 11': the elf is not my friend; she is my wife! We agree for her to be an Ally, rather than a Side Kick, so the Narrator can more easily use her. With such a rootless elf, Ian speculates he might require another NPC elf, perhaps related to her.

BELIEFS
As my character is married to one, clearly my character believes that the elves are our friends.

I decide to add 'vegetarian, and horrified by flesh' as a result of being skinned by a Gulper.
