Sure. Ceratinly it would be easier but never easy. Even for Raiding Clans its not something they do frequently. They probably have rituals that let them do such -- or at least get some nice bonuses. Not sure how it would work out in game-speek though. Clan-level magic is pretty diffuse and seems to take the form of year-long bonuses for certain tasks.
I suppose when we get full clan-generation writeups (ST?) that these sorts of things will be a bit more readly worked with.
