"Official" announcements are usually made on the World of Glorantha list, but here you are:
HQ2 is in copyedit, where all the naughty spelling and grammer errors are found, arrested, and hung from the yardarm (we treat them like pirates around here), and we are getting artwork collected and/or commisioned. After Copy editing and artwork is done, it's off to layout, then printing, then distribution.
Because I'm not sure how fast any of those processes are yet, I can't give an ETA more than "I'll be very surprised if its not out in Q1 '09."
As the process gets more streamlined and familiar, I'll be able to give more accurate ETA's for future products.
