Praxian Societies, let alone the adjective 'Magical', IMG serve also the purpose of 'regiments'.
In warfare (when Praxians go to war as themselves, not as mercenary units), Praxians may go by clans ('the sable silver horn clan' warriors, for example) but also by specialized societies.
A single Uber-Khan, in Jaldon style, during wartime could command, for instance:
-three clans' warriors
-two warrior societies (sword brothers and bersekers for instance)
-one magician societies
-one healers society
All the seven units, IMG nomads wars, are called a 'Horde'.
Given that nomads don't use regimental terminology, the society habit works pretty well as a substitute, in my opinion.
After all what's a Dara Happan Regiment in rules term? It's a heroband.
