It never came up in the games I played. Perhaps everyone was very fresh. I think, more likely, it should only be invoked when everyone is bored with your standard pre-contest routine. In our RQ game, we have several characters who, before every combat, say "I'm spinning up." We all know exactly what those characters are doing the first round of combat, even though it is different for each one. And it's pretty predictable. Hence, not all that interesting in and of itself. I'd much rather hear about how Rich's martial arts character is invoking his gi against this particular enemy.

Yeah! Sometimes these show up on character sheets. "Add Friend to Korbun Rhino Khan" for example. It's not really about bumping up you STR and CON.
