I'm in the pbem games Andy mentions below, and I'm also running my (12 year old) son in a Heortling game using HQ1 with some grafts from HQ2 (might entirely switch over, once I get around to buying the rules....so maybe after Christmas). Have used a mix of (modified) existing material (from the HQ1 book, Sartar Rising series, and HW narrators book), with some original.
