Roderick has very clearly laid out the respective strengths of the
two sides, but I think it worth just stressing something that came
out of this: the Impala and the Morocanth are each very good at what
they do - skirmish and close-in mauling, respectively. Given that
there isn't a huge numerical difference between the two sides,
victory is likely to go to the *leader* who manages to dominate the
conflict and force the other to fight on his terms. So perhaps it
will be the inspirational and cunning players, who force march
through the night and are in defensible locations before sunrise. Or
maybe they manage to raise winds which will hide them in clouds of
sand and blow little impala arrows off target. Or maybe it will be a
Crusader scenario, as Brian suggests, in which the slow-moving
targets, sorry, warriors, allow the skirmishers to operate at will,
in which case they'd have to be very lucky to reach their objective.
>From a game sense, though, this is a great situation: the numbers
aren't going to decide the day, it will be the players and their
leadership, their high tactics and low cunning!
