No. Its the name the Praxians always had for him. But what is happening is that the Heorltings are getting their own names for the various deities who are friends/foes.

Look at the 'enemies' sections in the Orlanth/Ernalda cults and see who's who. Kyger Litor, for example is not going to be known as that name to the Heortlings.

It appears that the names are getting culture/pantheon specific. Winkolad among the Grazers is... Orlanth? It could be a bit complicated but somehow it seems to work. Different cultures with different languages are probably not going to have the same name for the same thing.

So yeah, its Oakfed (probably) but its the Heortlings name for him.

Tell me Andrin
for I think you know
All that has ever happened
What is the name of Oakfed
among the myrad realms

Praxians call him Oak-fed
Dagaralobran to Heort's men
Forest-eater to Plant Folk
Cruel burner to Trolls
To Yelm's proud he is Holy Fire
Daka's Tribe name him Wild Fire
Blue Folk know him not
Mahome calls him brother
Lodril calls him 'son'
But the fire-spirit call him Master
And by these names is Wild-fire known.

Have a stave-ic day

Jeff
