I can think of at least two reasons:

1. We used rules which were different from the final version -- that's why we were playtesting, after all!
2. We didn't write them down in the first place (the Seattle Farmers Collective narrators are fairly improvisatory).

And in the case of the SFC, the campaign settings were hardly mainstream (Umathela, Dawn Age Talastar, Second Age Jrustela).
