:) Different strokes, of course. I'm heavily into the simulated/recreated side of RPG; I look for alternative experiences rather than escapism. Good RPG will immerse me in a character who thinks, behaves, believes in different ways to that which I do, and I enjoy this sort of dual perspective. Helps me appreciate the way other real people in the RW can think very differently to the way I think. So my play style tends to be a lot tighter on the continuity and less tolerant of the little in-jokes. c'est la vie.
