Peter Larson:

<< My discussion with Mr. Robertson and Mr. Metcalfe raises the issue -- how much do Malkioni care about conversions? Is there an active attempt (e.g. through threat) to get unbelievers to join (as in much of medieval Christianity)? Some attempt (e.g. through privilege) to get unbelievers to join (as in much of medieval Islam)? No attempt or active discouraging (as in Judaism)? I suspect the answer varies from sect to sect, but could we  have a brief overview if there are broad classes (i.e. the Rokari, as a whole, think x). >>

Malkionism (or at least, most forms of it) is a proselytising faith. Many saints are known for their success as missionaries, but the actual amount of missionary work has tended to vary throughout the course of history and in different parts of the world. Generally speaking, though, Malkioni have been far more successful at converting people from each other's sects or other sorcerous religions than they have been at converting pagans. This does not stop them trying of course!

Loskalm is presently very keen on bringing its one true faith to the rest of Glorantha, so that everybody can enjoy the fruits of a perfect and joyfully harmonious society as they do. Unfortunately, they have larger problems on their hands right at the moment, which take priority...
