        All very good ideas. Also interesting is all the speculation on just how you get someone to convert when they lose all their magic for doing so. Now, to be reasonable, most people in Glorantha are not all that heavily invested (in a game-sense) in their religions. [Brief rules digression] If we assume player characters are somewhat exceptional with starting values of 17 in magic keywords, many Gloranthans (especially younger people, likely to be converts) may have only a few points of religious skills above the starting values. [end of BRD] It may not be as completely wrenching for them to shift over to a new mode, especially for Animists (who may have little non-shaman-supplied magic anyway), than for their elders. Besides, the cost of conversion for NPCs ought to be cultural and moral, not "how many hero points do I have to spend to become equally powerful in my new paradigm."

        I realize that this probably should be on the rules list, but I doubt I havve any other comments on the subject. If anyone else wants to pursue it, we should take it there.
