Wow, that admonition seems to have quieted things. In light of the recent, related conversation about female characters using their
"assets" to distract opponents in game, I present the following
extract which I just found while editing a manuscript on the psalm tradition in poetry. It's from a Greek Anacreontic ode (#24, trans. by
D.A. Campbell) and seems to fit in nicely:

"Nature gave bulls horns,

horses hooves, hares speed,
lions a wide mouth full of teeth,
fish power to swim, birds flight,
men wisdom, women-- she had nothing left. And so? She gives them beauty,
strong as any shield, strong as any sword. A beautiful woman overcomes even steel or fire."

Sexist, naturally, but I confess, I like it. :) I'm afraid my HW knowledge is not quite up to par yet, can anyone tell me-- is there a
"beauty" keyword that would equate to this?? If there isn't, perhaps
there should be...
