Heroquest opponents

When you go on a heroquest you encounter other entities from the myth in question in the form of other heroquesters re-enacting their side of the story, right? So if you're doing the "Orlanth steals an item of footware from Kyger Litor" story you're pretty much bound to meet a number of heroquesting trolls.

What happens if you're re-enacting the little known "Orlanth steals underwear from Mostal" myth? The Orlanthi may have powerful myths of this event but to the dwarfs this is just a story used as an analogy in training new dwarfs for the underwear protection detail. They would never think of performing a theistic heroquest so who provides the opposition?
